At Call Voyager, we take
privacy seriously. We enable our
clients with useful services that help them make telephone calls and send
emails and text messages. However it is
up to you to adhere to all privacy laws, regulations and guidelines.
OUR COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY
Our PRIVACY POLICY was
developed as an extension of our commitment to provide easy to use, simple, voice
+ web services. You acknowledge that
this PRIVACY POLICY is part of our Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use
Policy (collectively, the " Terms"), and by accessing or using the
CALL VOYAGER Website and/or Voice Portal, you agree to be bound by all of their
Terms. If you do not agree to abide by the Terms, please do not use the CALL
VOYAGER Services.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect the e-mail
addresses and phone numbers of those who communicate with us via e-mail or
voice, we aggregate information on what pages customers access or visit, and
information volunteered by our users. The
information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web + Voice
services, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial
purposes.
We do share information in
order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities,
suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety
of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
We will transfer information
about you if World Class Software or Call Voyager is acquired by or merged with
another company. In this happens, World Class Software will tell you before
information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy
policy.
Personally Identifiable
Information.
When you subscribe to the
Service, you provide us with Customer Data. Depending on your agency, organization, that Customer Data will vary and
may include, a name, physical or electronic mail address, telephone number, or
any other identifier that permits the contacting of a specific individual by
voice, email or text message. When you
submit Customer Data on the CALL VOYAGER Website or through any data import
process, you are giving your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of
Customer Data pursuant to the provision of the Voice + Web services and in
accordance with this PRIVACY POLICY.
You are responsible to Update,
Correct, Or Remove Your Personally Identifiable Information on Customers
You have the ability to access
and edit the Customer Data that you have provided to us via our web sites and
voice portal. You may change any Customer Data at any time by logging on to the
system. It is your responsibility to
keep all information, accurate, current, and complete.
INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE
When you register as a user
of Call Voyager we ask for information such as your name, company name, email
address, billing address, and credit card information. Members who sign up for
the free account are not required to enter a credit card. World Class Software uses collected
information for the following general purposes: products and services
provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement,
contact, and research.
COOKIES
A cookie is a small amount
of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, which is sent to
your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard
drive.
Cookies are required to use
the Call Voyager service. We use
cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent
cookies. You are required to log-in to the Call Voyager web portal after a
certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally
accessing your account contents.
DATA STORAGE
World Class Software uses
third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware,
software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Call
Voyager. Although World Class Software owns the code, databases, and all rights
to the Call Voyager application, the data belongs to you.
RULES REGARDING COMMUNICATIONS USING THE SERVICE
Prior to sending any communications
using our Voice + Web services, you represent and warrant that (i) you have
obtained all requisite permissions from the pertinent authorized individual(s),
to provide the Customer Data to CALL VOYAGER pursuant to the provision of the
Service; (ii) to the best of your knowledge, all the Customer Data is correct
and complete; (iii) you are authorized to send messages to each intended
recipient via any communication medium; (iv) you will provide each recipient
with a facility to withdraw his, her or its permission, and will not send
messages to such recipient upon receipt of the withdrawal request; (v) you will
seek to comply with all relevant federal and state laws and regulations
including, without limitation, the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003, the Do Not Call
Provisions of the Federal Trade Commission's Telemarketing Sales Rule, Federal
Debt Collection Practices Act and State Do Not Call laws, in the conduct of
your actions regarding the subject-matter of this Agreement.
DISCLOSURE
World Class Software may
disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such
as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.
CHANGES
World Class Software may
periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes
in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary
email address specified in your Call Voyager account or by placing a prominent
notice on our site.
